We love to visit our neighbor city Dallas. Usually, it's either for shopping in Northpark or Knox/Henderson, Interior design inspo in the design district, or eating our way through uptown and West Village. But one of my favorite places to simply stroll through is Bishop Arts District. This time, for the Spring Urban Market. I really love the diverse collective of arts represented at this event. From succulents in handmade concrete pots, adorable crocheted baby crowns, and rustic, herbal baked goods.
One of my favorite stores, ever, is called Society. Society is a boutique candle shop that has more candles than there are days in a year. Aromatherapy is high on my list of things that make me most happy in the world, so it goes without saying I'm incapable of leaving Society with a new jar of wax (preferably soy!). What are your favorite scents? Society candle boutique has every (pleasurable) scent you could imagine, from musky, manly scents, to sweet Meyer lemon. Do you love the smell of freshly cut grass, but your allergies won't have it? There's a candle for you! My latest favorite is the smell of "Peace Pipe" which has sweet notes of tobacco.
There's nothing like a little dessert before dinner! I mean..... particularly when Emporium Pies is involved! I don't particularly have a sweet tooth (thanks to a very salty tooth). Naturally, I go for the least sweet item on the bakery menu....this time, the likes of blueberry pie.
Beautiful blooms by Dirt.
Have a lovely day, friends!
